Ahead of the imminent release of HC3 (book cover processor for InDesign) here's a sneak peek at a new experimental feature: directly injecting KDP, BoD… parameters. The script then calculates all the required dimensions and can apply them to your project.

After watching the video (no sound?), I had high hopes that I'd be able to reorder the rows by descending year range in a table with repeating sections but different labels in column 1 by unmerging column 1 and selecting just the rows, but when I do that, nothing happens. I surmise that the issue is the years are written as 2009-2013 and this script doesn't handle that....
Update: I changed all the date ranges to just a single year and tried to sort. Nothing happened. I was able to change the sort on two unrelated very simple tables of a few columns. So I guess it's good for that. Anything complicated, forget it

Bonjour, je me sers souvent d'InstantUnicode pour mon travail mais malheureusement, le script ne fonctionne plus depuis le passage à InD 2022 : avez-vous prévu une mise à jour ?
Bonjour Nathalie, Le script devrait fonctionner sous ID 2022. Assurez-vous que vous l'avez bien installé, car InDesign n'assure pas systématiquement le portage des scripts d'une version à l'autre, notamment si vous l'utilisez en script de démarrage.
i downloaded your font, but i couldn’t get it to work with more than single digits :/ i tried to understand the combination system but everytime i tried to type a codepoint or slash command it just typed it literally
Did you test it in InDesign with the associated 'Cistercian' Paragraph Style and the underlying Character Styles? They play an important role here.

Would be great! There are two bricks to address then: 1. Script resources emanate from IdExtenso's Linguist module which has a huge YALT package here: github.com/indiscripts/IdExtenso/blob/master/etc/Linguist/%24%24.yalt.jsxres Adding PT strings might be a tedious job though (~ 600 strings.) 2. The UI dialog relies on about 20 main strings. May I send you the file?

In case anyone has the same confusion I had: the script writer mentions that the text frame needs a border. However, he really means the object style needs a stroke.

Hey i just tried this but didnt work, physical size displays at exactly 5x actual (real world) size, is there a way to re enter the distance?
Hi Da Feng, Just re-run PhysicalSize *with no document open*. It will let you enter a new value.

Note en passant : depuis la version 1.135, IndyFont prend en charge l'effet « faux italique » (par inclinaison des glyphes). Il n'est donc plus nécessaire de bidouiller manuellement votre modèle de polices. Détails ici : www.indiscripts.com/post/2014/11/what-s-new-in-indyfont-1-135
This would be much more useful with sound. And a non-fuzzy video would also be helpful.
Pour ceux qui voudraient refaire la même chose à la maison, voici le code qui produit l'inclinaison générale de tous les glyphes dans votre modèle IndyFont : app.activeDocument.layers.itemByName("Outline").splineItems.everyItem().shearAngle = 11; (On peut le lancer via Script Bay ou depuis un simple jsx.)
